Shopify development
A Shopify store built around how people shop.
Product pages, navigation and checkout should help a visitor make a decision without working around the website. We plan the store around that journey and your team’s day-to-day updates.
- Scope and costs agreed before we build
- Launch checks for the agreed journeys
- Your store accounts stay under your control

You are probably here because
Does this sound like your week?
- The mobile product page takes more than four seconds to show the price.
- Your theme carries 20 to 30 apps nobody has audited.
- You are moving from another platform and worry about losing search visibility.
- Courier, payment and WhatsApp updates are done by hand.
- Meta reports purchases Shopify never saw.
The problem
Do you need a rebuild?
Not always. We assess whether targeted repairs can solve the problem first.
When a rebuild is the better route, we plan the store structure, templates, navigation and selected apps around the customer journey.
Ways to work
Which Shopify project do you need?
01
Theme rebuild
Your existing store, rebuilt on a suitable theme with an app review and launch checks.
02
Custom build
A store designed around your products and buyers, with custom sections your team can edit.
03
Migration to Shopify
From another platform, with products, content and redirects planned. Scoped separately.
04
Shopify Plus
For stores on Shopify Plus, requirements are reviewed and scoped within Shopify’s rules.
What you get
What can a build include?
- Store structure
- Agreed theme customisation
- Product and collection templates
- Navigation
- Selected apps
- Relevant cart and checkout configuration
- Launch checks
- An editing handover
How it runs
How long does a Shopify build take?
It depends on the scope and inputs. Checkpoints are agreed in the proposal.
01
Scope
Store review, page list, apps and requirements agreed, then a quote.
02
Design
Designs for the agreed templates, reviewed at checkpoints.
03
Build
Built on a staging store, with reviews at the agreed checkpoints.
04
Launch and measure
Launch checks on the agreed journeys, then an editing handover.
Measurement and KPIs
What do we check?
- Agreed pages and templates on key device sizes
- Page speed context on mobile
- Checkout completion rate by device
- Agreed tracking events, where tracking is in scope
- A handover record of what was built
Examples
Can we show you how this would work for you?
Client examples will be published when approved for sharing. In a free preliminary diagnosis we look at your business, marketing and website and explain where we would start.
When this is not the answer
When should you not buy this?
- You have fewer than a few hundred visitors a month. Fix traffic first; a new store will not create demand.
- Your current theme is fast and converts well: a CRO test programme will earn more than a rebuild.
- You only need marketplace listings. That is a different job.

FAQ
What do merchants ask about Shopify builds?
What is Shopify development?
Shopify development is planning, building and improving a Shopify store: structure, theme, templates, navigation and selected apps. Migrations and custom integrations are scoped separately.
How much does a Shopify store cost?
The fee is set by the agreed scope after a free preliminary diagnosis. Advertising spend is paid directly to the platforms, and third-party costs are listed separately in the proposal.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope, the product data and the approvals. We agree checkpoints in the proposal rather than promise a launch date before the inputs are known.
Should we rebuild or fix the store we have?
Not always. We assess whether targeted repairs can solve the problem first. We do not bypass Shopify plan or checkout restrictions.
Can you migrate us from WooCommerce or Magento?
Yes, as a separately scoped project. Products, customers, content and URL redirects are planned to protect search visibility and customer accounts as far as the platforms allow.
Do you build on Shopify Plus?
We review Shopify Plus requirements case by case and scope the work within Shopify’s rules.
Who owns the code?
Your store and app accounts stay under your control. Ownership and licensing of custom code are defined in the agreement.
Do you support the store after launch?
The proposal defines the support period and boundaries. Ongoing maintenance can be a separate monthly arrangement.
Are themes, apps and fees included?
Paid themes, apps and platform fees are separate unless included in writing.
