Here is what is behind the recommendation.
Different tools need different levels of evaluation. We label the evidence so you can judge the guide for yourself.
Evidence labels and disclosure
Evidence labels
What does each label mean?
What we look at: task fit, setup effort, usability, limitations, integrations and overall cost. A recommendation is specific to the user and task; it is not a claim that the tool is best for everyone.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Hands-on review | We have used the tool for the task described. The page explains the plan or version, what we tried, when we tried it and any limits to the test. A short trial is identified as a short trial. |
| Research guide | We have reviewed official product information and documentation. The page identifies the sources and review date. It does not claim a live business test. |
| Community feedback | Where user feedback is included, it is identified separately from our own observations. We do not present submitted opinions as independently verified outcomes. |
Testing method
What happens before a guide is published?
01
Pick the job
We define the task the guide is about before looking at the tool.
02
Label the evidence
Each guide says whether it is based on hands-on use, vendor research or community feedback.
03
Keep commercials separate
A commercial relationship does not become evidence of product quality, and relevant pages disclose it.
04
Edit and fact-check
Prices and features are checked against official information on the review date. The vendor remains the final source.
05
Keep guides useful
Each guide shows its review date. If you find something outdated, email hello@blitzcampaign.com with the page and the detail.
